Reflecting on the 2016 Festival

By all counts, this year’s Virginia Festival of the Book was another success. Thank you for being part of it!

Our schedule offered more than 250 programs, featuring over 400 participants. We worked with more than 200 community partners to create culturally important and diverse programs, and many of you came out in full force to attend, listen, ask insightful questions, and purchase books to learn more, or to simply enjoy. We loved seeing you here!

We’ll do it all again in 2017, so mark your calendars for the next Festival, taking place March 22-26, 2017, in Charlottesville and Albemarle County.

Until then, check out photo highlights from the 2016 Festival on our blog, and view the full photo album on Flickr.

Further, keep an eye out for e-news updates about the 2017 Festival submissions period, opening June 1.
